This is just my little keepsake documenting the transformation of our plain generic builders spec. house to a home that makes us, well me smile when I come home.

Something to hold onto
I guess it's one of those necessities in a house, and yet so plain and ugly. In a new cookie cutter house everyone on the block has the same one, also. So, here is the before - plain and boring right? After a few shakes of the magical spray paint wand or can whatever you may call it, this is the new lovely darker hand rail.
I think the color of my house is best described as "rotten avocado" and that just did not sound appetizing so let's try embellishing it a little. And really I like the color it's just hard to put a name to it. It's not green and it's not quite brown. It's green-brown but what fun it that.
I'm a 30-something housewife (I'd rather be an assistant to Pipa or a beach resort connoisseur, and while we're at it why not make me an international supermodel), in reality I'm a mom of three boys and wife to a witty young chap. So, ya life is grand.
